Sypris has a full range of equipment to forge, extrude and machine. A summary of our major equipment is as follows:
Upsetters:
15 semi-automated and automated upsetters ranging in size from 4" to 10"
Presses:
Eight mechanical presses ranging in size from 920 tons to 8,000 tons.
Cold Extruders:
Two fully automated cold extrusion presses with ultrasonic checking.
Machining:
Three automated machining cells for machining axle shafts.
